I'm not 100% sure what the "Trash" line represents, but you can certainly "<a href="http://drupal.org/node/249796" rel="nofollow">unpublish</a>" content from Drupal, which removes it from public view but makes it available for later editing and/or republishing. Joomla requires PHP 4.2.x or above.

I’m not 100% sure what the “Trash” line represents, but you can certainly “unpublish” content from Drupal, which removes it from public view but makes it available for later editing and/or republishing.

I came here to look for some insight into possibly using Drupal in future projects as well, and I am now leaving with the impression that Drupal is supported by people like this, who lack objectivity.
